Lomi Lomi is often referred to as a spiritual massage, however the technique is actually quite practical and specific.
As a Registered Lomi Lomi Massage Therapist, Lori Green uses rhythmic and flowing touch to restore energy and soothe the body.
Massage therapy is covered by most extended healthcare plans
Calm Your Mind
Lomi Lomi is much more than just a massage technique. Lomi Lomi takes you to a deep, quiet place inside yourself. Your breath slows, your mind is free, relaxed and “kind of empty”.
Create Mana Power
A therapist’s touch, pure thought, and breathing assist in creating MANA (power) and allowing the giver to focus on the love. This instills confidence, care and ‘openheartedness’ in both the giver and receiver and is very important in creating positive healing energy.
Discover Your Joy
Lomi Lomi is about creating a feeling of being nurtured and cared for. It gives you space for joy and creativity “to come”.

How Lomi Lomi Massage Works
Hawaiians look at things in terms of energy flow, following the idea that an idea or belief can block energy flow as much as muscle tension can. Lomi lomi helps release the blockages, whilst at the same time giving the energy new direction.
Thus lomi lomi is not just a physical experience, it also facilitates healing on the mental, emotional and spiritual levels as well. Hawaiians view all aspects of the body as one and believe that the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual are all part of the ‘whole’ self – when healing occurs on one level, it impacts on all levels.
Rather than viewing the client as someone to ‘be fixed’, a lomi lomi practitioner views each person as a Being to be assisted in returning to harmony and balance.
It is important to remember that the practitioner does not heal but is the facilitator for the healing, creating a safe place for the healing to occur.
